De caelo turns the gaze upward – and strips the sky of everything familiar. No clouds, no horizon, no spatial reference. What remains is colour as such: flat, still, without narrative. The project examines what photography shows when it appears to show nothing. the reduction to pure colour field shifts the question from subject to perception – how little does it need in order to work?
